Erin loves her five-year-old daughter, Addison, but Addison is non-verbal. Erin will do anything for her child, and she spends most of her meager salary paying for the best speech therapist in hopes that Addison will someday speak. Money shouldn’t be a problem for Erin; after all, her ex-husband Peter is rich. But she was young and naive when they divorced, and Peter bullied her into signing a contract that withheld her share of his fortune until Addison said her first word.
